Burned down and turned to ashes

Couldn’t care less about the crashes

Putting back the pieces in cases

Attempts to place a body back

The resurrection harder than the ground in drought

For the heart was cut open with needles around

And the soul detached and hung above the ground

A life less being was left around

To fend for what blood was left

Enough was it for the body to be

It worked its way to the detached soul

Crawling and writhing to get back the belongings

In attempts to be a whole again

While he watched from a distance

And smiled at what he had done

For he had another

While she was alone

But little did he know she was done feeding his ego

Little did he know she was rebuilding her soul
